Play and leisure is very central to learning and development for all children irrespective of their ability or disability. Great!

In line with Article 30 sub section 5(a) of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which states that: 'children with disabilities have equal access with other children to participate in play, recreation and leisure and sporting activities, MADI also strives to contribute in building a world of play for both children with and without disabilities.

Play unlocks essential skills and potentials. Through play, children with disabilities can build flexible skills that can help them take on the future with confidence and develop social, communication and physical skills, feel good, and have fun.

Play and leisure will help the children with disabilities learn about friendship, learn about sharing, cooperating, working out what other people are feeling and making friends with other children in their community.

Your child will get to know that they can rely on other children for support.
